Follow the below steps to get started with Spreeflo in minutes.
Install the Spreeflo app from the Spreeflo Shopify App page.
After you install the Spreeflo app from the Spreeflo Shopify App page, you'll be prompted with an onboarding modal.
Please add the email address that you want Spree to send to your customers on your behalf. For example, if you want your customers to receive marketing emails from contact@example.com, then enter contact@example.com into the "Email address" input field.
You must have access to the provided email's inbox to complete email verification.
A verification email would be sent to the email address provided.
Please click into the link inside the verification email. This will permit Spree to send emails to your customers on your behalf with your email address.
Emails will be sent to your customers from noreply@spreeflo.co.uk until you complete email verification.
You can change the email address in Spreeflo settings if required.
Marketing campaigns start with the customer segments that you create on your Shopify Store — and Spreeflo makes it easy to get started with any preexisting customer segments.
Shopify have customer segments already defined for any store, e.g. "Abandoned checkouts in the last 30 days", "Customers who have purchased at least once", etc. If these segments still exist and contain customers that are subscribed for email marketing, then Spree will prepare marketing campaigns specific for those segment customers.
However if your store does not have any customer segments or any segment with customers that consent for email marketing, then Spree will not be able to prepare marketing campaigns. You will have to define customer segments which will then define your marketing strategy for Spree to follow. You can define customer segments in Shopify -> Customers -> Segments on the left hand panel.
Spree will almost immediately prepare marketing emails with discount codes. Each marketing correspondence for each customer are known as a "job". Every email copy including the discount code itself will be personalised for each customer.
By default, Spree will not send any correspondence to your customers without your approval. You should regularly revisit the Spreeflo app to review and approve each job. Pending jobs will have a "Preview" option for you to view the correspondence.
As long as you have customer segments defined with customers that consented to email marketing, then Spree will continuously be working in the background for you; day and night. You'll be able to monitor Spree's achieved sales in the Spreefo app.
